Kannywood actress Rahama Sadau secure Federal Government appointment, The actress Rahama Sadau has been appointed by the office of the vice president Kashim Shattima. Where she is to serve on the technical committee of the investment in Digital abd Creative Enterprise Program (iDICE).

Rahama Sadau together with other appointees are inaugurated into the committee on Thursday by the vice president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Kashim Shattima.

The technical committee on the iDICE Programme is chaired by the special adviser to the President Bola Ahmad Tinibu on Economic Matters Tope Kolade Fasua.

Rahama Sadau on her X formally known as twitter handle she expressed her appreciation and gratitude over the recent appointment.

She wrote: " I am Pleased , honored and humble to accept my appointment to serve on the technical committee of iDICE (Investment in Digital and Creative Enterprise) Program.

This is indeed a great experience to witness, My Warmest appreciation to My principal His Excellency Senator Kashim Shattima, for seeing me worthy of this position, I appreciate the very generous expressions of support and confidence in me.

I would like to specially recognize and acknowledged some of the legion of great and sound mind who have positively impacted my professional life with the ideals of scholarship, diligence, determination, courage, focus, services and integrity. Thank you".

The Investment in Digital and Creative Enterprises Program (iDICE) is a Federal Government of Nigeria initiative aims in promoting investment in Digital and Creative Industry in Nigeria. It's part of Nigerian's effort to create and build sustainable jobs and fight against effect of unemployment affecting major number of youth in the country.

The $617.7 million program target Nigerian youth aged 15 to 35 years of old who are involved in innovative, early stage, technology enebled start-ups or in creative sector micro, small and medium sized enterprises.

The program is finance by Federal Government of Nigeria through the Bank of industry, African Development Bank, the agence francaice de Development and Islamic Development Bank.

The Main Objectives of Investment in Digital and Creative Enterprises (iDICE) Program, Include:

1. Harness Nigeria's youth talent pool (from ages 15 to 35 years) and equip them with tech and creative skills to increase their employability

2. Foster innovation, and support the emergence of more entrepreneurs; supporting their growth and unlocking their potential to create employment; and

3. Support enactment of enabling regulatory frameworks and policies for new businesses and innovative ventures
