The Federal Government Grant and Loan Portal 2023 has been launched to help one million Small and Nona Business across the 774 Local Government in Nigeria

The Federal Government has Initiated the presidential Conditional Scheme (PCGS) as part of the President Bola Ahmad Tinubu Palliative Program to help Nigerians recover from fuel subsidy removal. The Program aims to reach out 70% Women and Youth, 10% People living with disabilities and 5% Senior Citizens, and the remaining 15% being distributed to other demographics areas.

The federal Government of of Nigeria is pleased to announce the launch of the Presidential Conditional Grand For Nano Business (Federal Government Grant and Load Program) as part of the presidential Palliative Program.
The Federal Government will work with State Governments, Honorable Ministers, NASME (Nigerian Association of Small and Medium Enterprises), Senators, and House of Representative Members, who will use the Federal Government’s selection criteria below to shortlist the beneficiaries from their areas.
Businesses that are eligible to apply for the program are; Traders, Food services, ICT, Transportation and Creatives.
Traders: These group cover Small Scale business selling products directly to consumers in a local setting, they include Independent retail marketers, Small Shop owners located in residential areas, Vendors operating small scale markets stalls, and Individuals selling goods in open air markets.
Food Services: This category encompasses individuals or business involved in selling food, fruits, and vegetables. They typically operate as vendors, selling these items to customers at various locations such as markets, roadside stalls, or small shops.
ICT: these categories refer to individuals and businesses engaged in various fields such as operating business centers, providing battery charging services, selling recharge cards for mobile phones, and working as call center agents. Business center operators typically offer services like printing, photocopying, and internet access. Battery chargers provide charging services for mobile phones and other electronic devices. Recharge card vendors sell top-up cards for mobile phone credit. Call center agents work in customer service roles, handling inquiries and providing assistance over the phone.
Transportation: This category typically refers to specific occupations or modes of transportation. It includes Wheelbarrow Pushers who manually transport goods or materials using a wheelbarrow, often employed in various industries such as construction, agriculture, waste management, or informal urban labor. It also includes Independent Dispatch Riders, who operate as independent motorbike or bicycle couriers, delivering parcels, documents, or goods on behalf of businesses, delivery services, or as self-employed professionals providing delivery services to a range of clients.
Creatives: This category typically encompasses individuals involved in artistic and design-oriented professions. This includes Makeup Artists, professionals skilled in the application of makeup for various purposes such as beauty, fashion, film, and special effects. Artisans: are often considered skilled tradespeople or craftspeople. Here's a brief explanation of each:
Vulcanizes: Professionals who specialize in repairing and maintaining vehicle tires, often through processes like patching, inflating, and alignment.
Shoemakers: These are skilled in crafting and repairing shoes and other footwear, often employing traditional techniques to create or mend various types of footwear.
Painters: Skilled individuals who specialize in applying paint or protective coatings to various surfaces, often including interior or exterior elements of buildings, vehicles, or other structures.
Repairers: Generally include individuals that are skilled in fixing and maintaining various items or structures, ranging from electronics and appliances to mechanical and household items. You can apply as an artisan by clicking here.
