The Federal Government of Nigeria in Early 2024 has created the presidential conditional scheme as part the president Bola Ahmad Tinubu palliative program to help Nigerians recover from fuel subsidy removal. The program aims to help 70% Women and Youth, 10% People living with disabilities and 5% senior citizens, and the remaining 15% distributed to other demographics areas.

Loan applicants who have already filled the form should simply log In to the application portal and update their loan application using thier NIN and.
Grant Applicants, who have filled grant application form should simply log In and update their loan application using thier BVN, NIN, and CAC Certificate.

However their are too much difficulties while trying to access the portal using the original methods of NIN Verification Problem using USSD code *5141*7*7# and the portal grant method.
Today is good News, The Federal Government has introduced a new method which is alternative to NIN verification, this means that applicants can now verify their NIN using their Surname and Bank Verification Number, and the NIN itself.
First Search for the Grant Portal, by Opening your web browser and visit:
grant.fedgrantandloan.gov.ng/auth/nin/register.

Note; Don't use the link which request you to provide your NIN instead, find the Alternative method below the “Continue” button, you’ll see an option labeled “Use Alternative Method.” Click on this button to switch to the new verification method.
Fill in Your Details, A new page will appear with three sections, Surname, BVN, and NIN. Carefully enter your information in each of the sections. Make sure there are no typing error, especially in your BVN and NIN.
Submit the Information, Once you’ve filled in all the details correctly, by click the “Submit” button.
Verification Complete! Congratulations! You’ve successfully submitted your NIN verification using the alternative method.
Note: This Method will only be useful to people who have not been able to receive the OTP message using their phone number; therefore they should hurry up and submit their NIN using alternative method.
